Last updated: August 16, 2026. plainake wants every visitor to be able to read our pages, understand our plans and reach an advisor — including people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, magnification or captioning. This statement describes where we stand and how to tell us when something does not work.
1. Our commitment
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA, and we treat accessibility as part of building the site rather than a later fix. Our services are also delivered in ways that can be adjusted: session materials are available as text documents, and we provide captions or transcripts for recorded training on request.
2. What we have built in
- Keyboard access. Every link, button, form field, the FAQ accordion, the pricing toggle and the consultation form can be reached and operated with a keyboard alone, with a visible focus outline.
- Screen readers. Headings follow a logical order, form fields have real labels, error messages are linked to the field they describe, and illustrations carry text alternatives or are marked decorative.
- Contrast. Body text and interface elements are tested against a 4.5:1 contrast ratio, and larger headings against 3:1.
- Text sizing. The layout reflows down to 320 pixels wide and remains readable when text is enlarged to 200% without horizontal scrolling.
- Motion. Scroll animations respect the "reduce motion" setting in your operating system, and nothing on the site flashes or auto-plays.
- Forms. Errors are described in words, not colour alone, and explain how to fix the problem.
3. Known limitations
We publish these honestly rather than waiting until they are fixed:
- The embedded Google Maps frame in the contact section is provided by a third party and its internal controls are outside our control. The same address, phone number and directions are given in text next to the map.
- Some older PDF documents shared with clients before 2024 are not fully tagged for screen readers. We will supply an accessible version of any of them on request, usually within two business days.
4. Conformance status
| Standard | Status | Last review |
|---|---|---|
| WCAG 2.1 Level A | Conformant | June 2026 |
| WCAG 2.1 Level AA | Partially conformant — see known limitations | June 2026 |
| Section 508 (US) | Aligned with WCAG 2.1 AA criteria | June 2026 |
Reviews combine automated testing with manual keyboard and screen reader checks using NVDA on Windows and VoiceOver on macOS and iOS. The site is checked again after any significant change, and at least twice a year.
5. Adjustments for our services
Tell us what you need when you book, and we will arrange it at no extra cost: large-print or plain-text versions of session materials, live captioning for video sessions, extended session time, an accessible meeting room at our Loop office, or written summaries after every call.
6. Tell us about a problem
If you hit a barrier on this site or in our materials, we want to hear about it. Please include the page address, what you were trying to do, and the browser or assistive technology you were using.
